Now that he's satisfied with the way things are going, Huck asks the manager to free him. He wants to know if he can be more gentle with the director now that they're done torturing him. The director tells Huck to be gentle, but Huck doesn't want to listen to him, so he tells him to go lick his wounds. Huck's not having it. He can't even talk to the director, and he wants him to give him a cigarette. Huck wants to give the cigarette back, but the director refuses to do so. Huck tells the director to stand up, take a bath, and look at Huck, who is lying on the ground. Huck laughs at the idea that Huck is a wild puppy.
