He says that they're stuck in the road and they need to get back to the house before the traffic gets too bad. He wants Cyril to leave the house so that he can tell his son something, but she won't let it happen. She tells him that she's not going to break off her relationship with Cyril. She says that she respects Cyril so much that she wouldn't want to be in a relationship with a man. She also says that her feelings for Cyril aren't just about love, but about being polite, tolerant, and loving others. She's grateful to Cyril for teaching her how to be a good person. She wants him to step out of her life so that she can be with someone else.
