Huck goes off to cheer on the other students at the school, where he'll be training for the university race that day. Huck asks if the nurse would like to have a drink with him after the training session, and she says that she'd like to, too. Huck thinks that maybe Cyril is trying to win some attention through this race, or maybe he just wants to be noticed.
