The next morning, Lingzi wakes up to find that his father has been released from prison. He tells Lingzi that his brother, Gu chuan, has bought a piece of land in the middle of the city and is planning to build a hotel there. Lingzi tells him that the land is worth ten times its current value, and that he should invest in it. He also tells him to send him a picture of himself when he returns.
