In this chapter, we learn that the young master of the yuan family, Inan Guo, is working for a man named Cai Lingchuan, who is also the brother of the man who is the boss of the family. The young master, who we learn is called Cai Lingzhen, is a "scalp, gutsy, and good leader" . He is a man who treats his subordinates well, and he is a good leader. In an aside, Cai Lingshuo reveals that he is Cai Ling's boss, and that Cai Ling himself works for Cai Ling. Cai Mingshuo, the young man in charge of the household, is not a bad person, he says, but he is "playing around" with Cai Ling, and Cai Ling is playing around with him too. In the midst of all this, Cai Mingsheng, the boss's son, comes in and tells Cai Lingsheng that his father is angry with him for not treating him with more respect. He also says that he has come to tell Cai Lings father that he will be fired if Cai Ling continues to treat him like a servant.
