This chapter's epigraph comes from a famous nursery rhyme: "Poor cried from howling / / And too bad we didnt take a picture" . In other words, it's not so bad when you're a kid who doesn't know what to do with your parents when they're sick. It's even worse when you can't even stand up for yourself in front of your friends. This is the first time that we've heard a nursery rhyme rhyme that's about a kid's fear of being seen in public.
