It's been one year since Don Pedro left them, and they still don't really like him. So they're going to divide their clans up. Don Pedro's old friend, Nestor, shows up and tells them that he's just come from the north, where he and Nestor's boss, Nosfer Artie, used to live. Nestor says that they've been chased off of the witches' quarter by the goblins, and that Nestor has offered to help them. Nestor is all, "I'm no longer emperor." He's not happy about the fact that Don Pedro has been acting like a total jerk lately, and he wants Nestor to stop acting like one. Nestor doesn't seem to care, though, and says that he and Don Pedro have been running away from the town hall. Nestor asks if there's anyone in the town who can stop them, but Nestor points out that there are probably more casinos, hotels, and other places where they could be staying. Nestor wants to know why they haven't tried to fix the problem, and Nestor says it's because he'd rather have a challenge and a provocation mixed up in one place than in another. He promises Nestor that he will " demolish your street" in a "swift, honest way."
