In this chapter, we learn that Milady is hiding out in a house in the middle of nowhere. Milady's secret is that she is the daughter of a man who was murdered by her father's best friend. Her father, Milady says, was a murderer, and Milady has a plan to kill Milady and her husband. She tells Milady that she has a secret that she wants to share with Milady, but Milady won't tell her.
