About This Chapter
The narrator asks the young man how many people he has killed in his hands. The young man replies that he is in the Chinese army and has been to war before. He asks the narrator to keep his contact information. The narrator replies that it is only his duty to help the people. He says that he does not know if his father has been through any wars, but he does know that his father disappeared in the battle a while ago. He is not sure if he reminded him of his father, but after improving his strength and skills, he will be able to find out. He tells the narrator that he will miss him when he goes to France, but the narrator is sorry that he brought him out here. He adds that he has more important matters to do. He rushes to the villa that his uncle gave him. He feels the good aura of the place, but it is better than the nothing. He hopes that his grandmother will feel at ease when he asks her about the job. He mentions that he founded his own company, but that he did not make as much money as he would have liked from the pill. Being a grandson is difficult, he says, and he hopes that all this success will make his grandmother feel better. He also mentions that his professional ability is good, but his employer is making it difficult for him on purpose.
