They tell each other not to open the app, because the word "Demit" means "ghost" or "spirit" in the language of the book, and it might be a bad idea to open an app that doesn't mean anything to you. Still, they're happy to see their parents back, because they know that they'll be able to spend more time with them. The girls tease each other about how much fun it is to be alone at home, and then they all start freaking out about the mysterious app they've just heard about.
