The police officer hates that his son is even wounded, but the kid refuses to believe that the dog is dangerous. The family is forced to put down the dog because it is deemed as "dangerous" . The kid doesn't believe the police, and thinks they are lying. But the police have irrefutable proof, and the family has two choices: they can either take care of the dog, or they can do it their way. Either way, the family will have to kill the dog.
