About This Chapter
In this short scene, the young narrator complains to himself that he is bored and that he has to take responsibility for his actions. He asks if his mother taught him to ask when he wanted something, and if she did not teach him to say "please" when he asked for something. He then asks if he should break off his relationship with the bull because he does not want to steal his boyfriend away from him. The narrator then goes on to explain that the roof of his house is in the middle of the room, and he wants to play on it.
