In this short scene, the narrator introduces us to the family of the border collie, the koshino border collie. The family has been obsessed with the girl since she was a little girl, and they've been teasing her about it ever since. They've even made her wear a giant chocolate box as a gift for her big sister, who's wearing a dress made out of chocolate. The girls are so jealous of their brother, Mizukawa, that they don't want to be friends with him. The brothers have been teasing each other for a long time, but now that they're in middle school, they can't talk to each other. The narrator tells the girls that he's been waiting for them to come to him, and he'll be happy to be their friend. He also tells them that he has a secret crush on Mizumi. Mizumi is a big brother, and Mizumi's sisters go to a school called Suginami, which means Mizumi has to go to school with 200 other big brothers, which is why Mizumi wants to come visit them. He's also going to visit Mizumi at the school where his other big brother is a student, which makes Mizumi even more jealous of him, since he'd like to be his friend. The sisters are so happy to see Mizumi, but Mizumi doesn't seem to be in love with the narrator. He just wants to hang out with Mizumi and be a friend.
