About This Chapter
In this short scene, the protagonist, sempai, and his friend serina go out for a walk. . the protagonist complains that he feels like he has heard about a sports festival that has been held in the city. He wonders what kind of guy writes love songs on a desk, and he wonders if there really are "boys out there" who would love to fight with him. He asks her if she likes love stories, and she says that she does, but that she doesn't like romantic love stories. The protagonist says that he is born to love a girl, and that he thinks chatter chatter is okay. He tells her that he has just forgotten his bag, and they have only one more thump left in it. He goes on to say that he's right next to the man who runs the festival, and asks her why she doesn1t go ask him why he is so upset. She says she didn1t think he would be so upset, and the protagonist says she should just go. She asks him if he has camped out in front of the gate at the festival. He says he has, but he swears that it isn1t him. She tells him that a friend of hers works in a karaoke place and she can get them in for 70 percent off. She also says that they can get into the festival for free if they just ask her where the festival is being held. He agrees, and says that no one said that unrequited love wasn1t love at all. He then asks if he can borrow a pen and write a love song. He wants to know if he is in any school, and what part of the city he lives in. He also asks if his first pen is a pen, and if it is the same one he used when he wrote the love song in the first place. He offers to lend him a pen if she will take his bag.
