About This Chapter
In this chapter, Clara tries to convince Emma to listen to what she has to say. She tells Emma that she is a part of her, and that she can do whatever she wants with her. She says that she feels pain and wants help, but that she almost forgot to go with her parents. She wonders what words she can use to change someone, and wonders if her father's death was an accident. She realizes that destiny is a thing, and she wonders if she and her parents were meant to be good victims, but they were actually hurting inside, so they were trying to hurt others. She feels sorry for her parents, because she didn't want to hurt them. She wishes she could go back in time and find out what has happened to the world, and where she came from.
