About This Chapter
The monster is gone, but not before leaving a trail of its own trail of breadcrumbs. The narrator tells us that the monster has left the room and gone to sleep. He's not sure how the monster got there, but he's sure that it's a good thing the monster didn't come back to the room. He also says that if the monster had come back, he'd have killed the monster, too, but that he doesn't know if it was a good idea to kill the monster or not. He tells the narrator not to worry, though, because he'll take care of her.
