The Governess tells the Governess that she prefers to live with monsters than escape with them. She says that her mother is mad because of the monsters, and that she needs to stay with her. She also says that it might be a while before her mother comes back to sanity, but that's not to say that she has to follow her mother's path. She's her family, and she can't leave them, even if she did. They should leave the town for good, she says, but she doesn't have a way to do that. She asks if she's really a teacher, and he says that he is. She tells him that she left her mother alone two weeks ago because of him, and now she wants to go back with her mom.
