The chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. In this chapter, the protagonist explains that he has resumed his work as an indentured servant. He has developed a system that can be used to kill speciacal individuals or groups. One week ago, he used the system to kill four taiwanese leaders and most of their families. Two days ago, his girlfriend, mirra sway, was kidnapped off of the streets of Rass 14. The protagonist has never been on a real-world operation before, and he wonders how he could possibly know that he is about to be killed. He decides to take a special pill that will allow him to see the southern tip of the island. He tells the protagonist that the target is the island itself, and that he will have to fly into the island by blackhawk, the eastern coastline, to get there. He explains that this man, named Tsang Ong, is a bad guy. He is 29 years old, has a scar on his face, and is known as chengwu alias Minglai nationality. He says that the primary objective of the operation is to let Dr. Lorry secure whatever he needs from the island, but that the secondary objective is to get the protagonist down and see if anyone else is alive. He feels blood pooling in his shoe and wonders if this is the afterlife. He asks the protagonist to get down and look at his leg, and the protagonist says that they are about two clicks away from the insertion point. He wonders why the chinese want him motivated to help them, and wonders why they would grab her before it is used on them. He concludes that he designed these little suckers to sting.
