The narrator and his friend go to check out a new VR experience called "VR Experience Hall" . The narrator asks the friend where he got the money, and the friend says he earned it as long as he was happy. He says he's worked at the bar for a while, so he doesn't know what the bar owner has been up to since the holidays. The friend tells the narrator that the auntie who lives next to them asked him to tutor her child math, and that's how he earned the money. The captain of the ship tells the two of them that they should put on their goggles after they get on the ship, because they're going to be prisoners during the experience.
