The next morning, Huck wakes up in the middle of the night. He's not sure what he's going to do with himself, but he knows that he has to go to work. He tells Huck that he'll treat him to dinner and then he can head home. Huck tells Huck to go back to his work and not to worry about what happened to him. He says that he just wants to stay by Huck's side for a bit longer. Huck says that the fact that Huck took the time to talk to him means that Huck is no longer angry with him for what happened, but that he still feels like he needs to do something. A few days later, Huck finds a gift for Huck. It's his birthday, and Huck doesn't know why he gave someone else a gift on his birthday. He asks Huck why he bought such an expensive present. Huck admits that he likes the gift. Huck goes off to have some fun.
