The gang returns to the school and finds that Linhui has gone to the police station to report that the two men who ran into them at the gate have been arrested. The gang tells Linhui that they will take him back home and that he is a "damned dark horse" . Linhui tells the gang that he does not want them to hate him and that they are free to like whomever they want.
