The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night to find that his friend has gone to a bar called the "Gay Bar" . He's not sure what's wrong with his brain, but he can't sleep. He wakes up to find his friend snoring. The narrator is all, "damn it, no way, is this the cause of my brain's snoring?" . The first time he skipped class in his life because of this, he says, was because of the "snorting noises" in the bar.
