About This Chapter
Now that he's washed up, the guy feels a little better. He's been practicing his underwater breathing techniques, and he thinks they're working. But he needs to get into the water first so he can check it out, he says. There's a guy who went 20 meters down alone, but he was someone with 10 years of experience, so maybe he can figure out how to do it on land. He doesn't know when he'll be able to return to the surface, though, because it's not his country. The guy also mentions that Jacques in the movie "The Big Blue" says that every time he goes back to the ocean, he'd have to ask his girlfriend to go with him, because he can't figure out what to do with himself. The dude says that if he keeps diving, it'll become more comfortable, but it won't be as comfortable as it was when he first got into the ocean. He says that's because a movie is just a movie, not a real life thing.
