About This Chapter
In the morning, Azeuma complains about her fight with the other girls. She says that the girls are always mad at her, but that this morning, they were "unreasonable able" because she was having fun with them. She tells the girls that she provoked the girls into the fight, but she says that women's anger is not about individual points, but about the line itself. The girls asked her what opinion she had of her, and she gave it, but the girls just asked her to say a nice thing. Azuma says that she can't stop talking to the boy, because she wants to make him happy. She wants him to look good to her, or "that's cute" , or something like that. She thinks that it's important to be nice when a girl asks, "Isn't it nice?" , but then she wonders why the girl would say such a thing. She wonders if the girl is overreacting because she wanted to make the boy happy, or if she just wanted to respond to the girl's feelings.
