About This Chapter
Iago and Iago's mother are overjoyed to see their daughter gone. Iago tells her that her crimes against the land are "worth of death," but that she is banished to the "outlands," where she will not be able to speak to anyone. He tells Iago that Iago tried to kill him, but Iago does not owe him a kindness. He says that he will be back soon, but that he cannot find the answers to his questions. He asks his mother if she is all right, and she tells him that he looks "a frightful i cant marry you," and that he is not the "right man for me." Iago says he loves his father, but this is his life, and he does not want to marry him. He wants to know if anyone else has left him out, or if his father has been looking too far away.
