He's worried that he'll be seen as an old man, and that he won't be able to keep his father happy. Hiroyuki tells his father that he wants to be a part of the cheer squad at the upcoming sports fair, but that he doesn't want his father to see him as a young man. He also worries that his father will be upset if he sees him at the fair. He tells Hiroyuki that he hopes they can talk things over and that they can make up once Hiroyuki's back at home.
