One summer day, Hiroyuki and his father go to the beach to spend time together. Hiroyuki tells his father that he's been working as a massage therapist for a friend of his, who's also going to be leaving for the summer. He asks his father if he can add him to his list of clients, and Hiroyuki replies that he can do so too. He's worried that if he doesn't do so, he'll end up looking like a "boy ugly" , and that's not good enough for Hiroyuki. He tells her to be careful not to try to make him happy, because it might kill him. He also tells her that he wishes she'd stayed away from him, because she's a "bad girl" . She tells him that she has always been a good girl, but that she just can't stand the thought of him being so close to her. She says that she'll remember this summer as one of her best memories.
