About This Chapter
"I love you" is the first thing that comes to mind when the narrator realizes that he has fallen in love with the girl. He asks her to pretend that she never said such a thing before. He tells her that he doesn't know her cell number and that he wants to talk to her about what happened the day before. She tells him that she has been feeling better since he said that yesterday. He says that he may like her, but that he will try not to say such things again. She asks him to open the door so that she can see the outside world. He tries to get her to yell at the people in the next room, but she refuses to listen to him. She says that she knows that she would give up on the whole thing if it were not for the fact that she had her phone. She then asks him if he can pretend that he loves her. He admits that he does, but he can't pretend because he is an idiot.
