About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that he and his mother have just moved into their new house, and that he's been talking about it with his friend, shirou-san. The narrator says that he has decided to enter the family register, which means that he will be allowed to live with the family for six months after he graduates from high school. He's upset that he hasn't told anyone at school about his new home, and he wonders if it's his fault. He says that his mother remarried and that they've moved in, but that he doesn't want to tell anyone about it. He also says that the brothers are cruel to him, because babes like him love "hot guys" who are "sadistic" . He wonders if his mother will be late for school, and wonders if he'll be able to get home in time to see her. He tells himself that he can't worry about the brothers, because they don't have the same sense of danger as he does. He thinks that maybe he and the brothers can finally see eye-to-eye on things, and they can figure out what's going on between them. He gives a shout-out to the brothers for their kind words, and then he asks them to make lunch for everyone. He asks if it was just him, or if he was in a "bad mood" lately, and is told that lunch is now being taken from his mom. He then asks why he is being summoned to lunch again, and when he says that it was him, the brothers say that he is "different from normal people," and that if he really knew him, he'd understand. He apologizes, saying that he loves his mother, but he shouldn't be doing things that he hates
