The next morning, Tulkinghorn wakes up to find that his wife has not picked him up from the train station, and that she has a cold. He tells his wife that he will have to see her the next day in person, since he can't get in touch with her, and he hopes that she will be able to see him in person. He then draws a picture of his wife, who is dressed in her wedding dress, and tells her that she looks beautiful in the picture, and she agrees with him that she is beautiful in person as well. He also tells her to tell her guest that he is not there, because he has a fever, and to tell him that he has not even had a fever. He says that kirari has been looking forward to the show, but that he knows she is still scared, because she has been acting and acting feverishly, and because she is afraid of a group of big kids who have come to see the show. She tells him that they are the first ones to come to the dance, and so he scolds her, but she scolds him again, saying that it is time for her to dance, because her heart is full of a full moon.
