The narrator tells us that he's about to get married. He's so excited that he can't wait to tell his fiance how lucky he is to be marrying her. He also tells her that she's going to have to tell her fiance how unlucky he is. The narrator is all, "Gee, I'm glad you're marrying me, because it'll give me a chance to be happier." He also says that he hopes that his dad will be a good guy this time around. He says that if it doesn't work out, they can always go back to their old ways, which is what they've done before.
