In this chapter, Mina explains that she and bet hiro used to get into a lot of trouble back then, but that it's normal to go through a "bad phase" when you're young. She thinks she's lucky to be friends with hiro, since he's so good-hearted and kind. She also thinks that clei is more awkward with her because she loves her brother, and she thinks clei got roped into the whole tatsuya-and-sachiko thing too. She hates how much she looks like clei and how much he looks like her brother. Then she hates him even more when he tells her that he'll be sorry for hurting her, and then he goes home and hates himself even more for it. She asks him to give her the scars from the fight, even though both of them have already forgiven her.
