In this chapter, we learn that Hiroyuki's mother has left him and his sister. She told them that she wished they were never born and that she loved them so much that she wanted them never to be born. Hiroyuki is shocked and angry at his mother's departure. He realizes that he is not the person who left her and that there is a possibility that he has already taken her with another man.
