As the battle rages on, Hirohito's army is advancing towards Goryokaku, while Kishida's forces are fighting off the advancing army. The two men are joined by a third man, who is carrying a rope that he has just wrapped around himself. The rope is a gift from Kishida to his brother, the prime minister of Japan.
