After seven years of waiting, the narrator finally finds Mr. Chiyoo. He's happy to be his new wife, and he's ready to start life as a woman. He tells us that the landlord kicked him and his friend out because they were loud at times, and that's why they were kicked out. The landlord is "a pervert" , and the landlord is lying next to him naked. The narrator says that he grew up alone, so he was uncomfortable living with people.
