The next morning, the narrator wakes up hungry. He thinks he sees someone outside the window, but he doesn't see anyone. He realizes that he knows that oppa is a man because he saw him kiss another man. He's so hungry that he ate a hot dog before going to sleep last night. The narrator tells the reader that he's not a woman, but that women are "absolutely forbidden" to live in the house. He says that if a man found out that he was a woman living there, he wouldn't want to move in because he'd be seen as a "man's back" .
