In this short scene, we are introduced to Dongmin and his mother, who are in hyung-woo's house. The mother is very upset, as she had a feeling that her daughter loved hyunwoo and that she was going to do something crazy. She calls the police and tells them that she has just returned home from the hospital and is fine. She says that she wants to give in to her daughter's wishes, but she can't because she has been holding onto her only hope, which is her daughter. But now that her hopes have been dashed, she feels like she doesn't care what happens anymore. She wants to end the fight, she says, and so she agrees to marry chaeunjung. The wedding is to be held the next day, and everyone is invited to the party.
