It's dark outside, and we're introduced to Mr. Kazato. He's in the middle of a conversation with Mr. Hiroyuki, who's just returned from a night out with some other guys. The two of them are having a little spat about the fact that Hiroyuki's mistress, Miyu, isn't doing too well at the ball he's been throwing. Mr. Kiyoshi, the other guy at the party, is also having a bit of a spat about Miyu's not-so-well-being. He says that Miyu is a "nobility" , and that she's worth a lot of money to him. He also says that he paid a ton of money for Miyu the other day, and now that he has a good reputation, he'll be able to buy Miyu for a lot less than he paid for her the day before. This is a little weird, since Miyu and Hiroyuki aren't really friends, but we'll get to that in a minute.
