In this short scene, we find ourselves in the third summer together of the show. We're introduced to our heroine, who's been in love with a guy named Akira for three years now. We learn that she's the one who has been the object of Akira's affections ever since they met in high school. We also learn that Akira and her friend, mochizuki, have run off to celebrate the end of the school year together. Akira asks her why she hasn't told him about her feelings for him, and she tells him that she doesn't want him to know because she'd rather not let him know about it. She's also worried that someone will find out about their relationship and break them up. She tells Akira that even though she lives to be old, she still wants to be with him because she loves him so much.
