He tells her that he's been checking social media to see if there's anything going on between him and the Japanese exchange student. He's worried that the lights have gone out, and he wants to know what's going on. She tells him that she doesn't want him to kiss her, so she's hiding and hiding. He says that they're just pretending to be friends, but Camilla is confused. She thinks that the two of them aren't really friends, because El and the exchange student have been hanging out all the time, and she thinks that El wants to have sex with a Japanese girl the very first day that she arrived in the U.S.
