The next morning, Ellie tries to talk to her friend, but she's still nervous. Ellie tells her mom that she tried to speak to Ellie yesterday, but he's not like the jerk that she thinks he is. She tells Ellie that she'll have to wait until she gets her friend back before she can talk to him again. She also tells her friend that Ellie is staying at her house, and that she and Ellie have a girl living at their house. She asks Ellie if she would be perfect for her gymnastics team, and she tells her to cheer up the girls on to get Ellie back.
