Back at the office, we learn that Fukana has heard about the whole thing. He's shocked that he's heard about it, because he thought he'd been promoted faster than anyone else. Fukana says that he was promoted just as quickly as everyone else, and that's why he thinks it's going to get worse before it gets better. He also says that miyashita told him not to be so coy with him, and not to let this happen to him. He says that if only he had been there, he would've been sorry.
