In this chapter, Roxane tries to convince Roxane that she is in love with him. She tells him that she would never have sex with him if he were a brat like him, and that he kissed her in front of everybody at the club. She says that she will return to the club only because she is indebted to Roxane not because she wants to edge him, but because she has no other choice. Roxane says that he will be her assistant in the club for the next month, and then she will go back to her job as a cook. When she returns to her apartment, she finds that Roxane has gone to bed.
