The chapter opens with Towada, the second host and manager of the club, greeting the new owner. Towada tells him that he is the number one host in sales in the club and that he has been doing so for 33 consecutive months. He tells Towada that after he joined the club he was number one for a short period of time, but then he was overtaken by another man who had been in the same position for three months. The new owner is sorry that Towada is worried about him, but he assures him that everything will be fine. He says that since he has fired Reiji, the club has taken a big hit, and he is worried that he may have to quit. He asks Towada to come back and apologize for what he did the other day, but Towada says that he must wait until he can apologize.
