He tells the protagonist that he'll have to work very hard to save money and move away from his job. The protagonist is so excited that he can't wait to leave, but he realizes that he has to work extra hard because his boss won't let him do it. He tries to sneak out of the office, but the boss will not let him. He sends the protagonist on his way.
