About This Chapter
The cat knight explains that he has joined the dragon knights' brigade to help them reach a consensus about the cat. He explains that they owe him a debt for joining, and so he will supply them with some food. He tells the cat knight that he is here to ensure that he does not stir up trouble with ways. He asks if the cat is finished eating, and he says that she is the most beautiful of all. He says that he will rub sometimes, but he has never done so. He wonders if the smell is an illusion, too, as he heard that the general had been defeated. He wants to see for himself, he says, but the smell will not tan his illusions. He tries to follow him to the other side of the wall, where he can see the cat's special sticking pose.
