The scene opens with the wet and agitated Sebastian trying desperately to get away from his lover. Sebastian is convinced that he is being seduced by a "dangerous man" who is making him want to "be embraced." Sebastian, however, does not believe him. He does not understand why Sebastian would leave him in the middle of the night when he has come to see him. Sebastian tells him that he came to the city because he had "things he was dissatisfied with" and he does not want to be left out of the loop.
