"You're wet" is the first line of the first chapter, and it's clear that the narrator is trying to get to the bottom of what's going on. He's trying to figure out why the guy is acting so weird. He wants to know if the guy's nervous or if he's just trying to make himself feel sexy. The narrator doesn't know what to do. He tries to jiggle the guy around, but he can't figure out how to get the guy to do anything. He knows that the guy wants to have sex with him, and he wants to make sure that he does it in a way that won't make him look like a jerk. He also knows that if he does, he'll have to do it in front of other people, which will make the whole thing even more awkward.
