About This Chapter
The narrator is so wet that he can barely breathe. He tells himself that he is being seduced by a "dangerous man" who makes him want to "be embraced" by him. He says that he was supposed to send a text message to Miki, but he is sorry that he did not do so. He plans to help the man who runs a small cafe after he leaves the company. He promises to make the restaurant flourish with his sales skills he has learned from his company. Miki is so excited to see him, and the narrator is happy to see that she is coming over to eat at the cafe. He thinks that he has finally found his "boy friend" and that he will be able to help Miki with her new job. The narrator coughs and coughs again, and finally he realizes that he does not know where he is and that Miki has left him alone. He asks Miki if she has asked him to do something for her, and she says that she has, but that she cannot tell him whether he is good at it or not. She says that sometimes she cant tell whether the man is good or bad at it. He replies that sometimes he just cannot tell. She asks him what he has left in the house, and he replies that he wants to eat for dinner
