In this chapter, we are introduced to a young woman named Kamaru, who works as a saleswoman at a company. She is engaged to a man named Hiroyuki, who is also a salesman. Kamaru tells Hiroyuki that she is getting married and that she will quit her job after she gets married. She tells him that she has been working hard at the company since she joined, and that her supervisor, a woman named Mija, has been helping her find a boyfriend. She says that she and Mija have been working together since they joined the company and that they have been hard at their jobs. When she asks him what is wrong with him, he says that he is having a bad day and that he will buy her a drink.
